Fall Mixer

Dear Beloit College Community Friends,
You are cordially invited to celebrate fall, food, friends and fun at a social mixer on Thursday, October 18!
Who: You (and bring colleagues & friends)
What: Harvest treats and a light-hearted chili tasting competition!
When: 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm, Thursday, October 18 (Fall Break)
Where: 613 College Street (Alumni House)
Why: Food facilitates community and why not?
If you have a fantastic chili recipe that you are interested in sharing at this event (and thereby put your name in the running for a prize of Beloit swag), send an email entry by Wednesday, October 10 to Jamie Gurholt ( Please include the name of your chili and basic ingredients (ie: Beloit Brew: spicy vegan bean chili) to be entered in to the competition. You will receive a follow up confirmation email with details and further information.

Beloit Urban Garden Workday

4:00 PM
Come lend a hand at BUG, the student-run organic campus farm. Work may include harvesting, weeding, or putting the garden to sleep for the season.
Every volunteer can go home with a haul of fresh produce that we pick! Hope to see you there!
The BUG is located across the street from Kerris Field, a block north of Commons at 1031 Church St.
