Rising, Falling - Gallery Talk with Jill Kambs

Rising, Falling is an interdisciplinary art exhibit, in which the artist traces environmental movement in a series of time-based sequential pieces measuring light, water, and color. By presenting intimate studies of nature, the artist seeks to connect human viewers with the rest of the natural world, promoting an ethic of concern and care for the environment.

No previous sewing experience required.
There are a variety of tasks, from laying out the fabric to sewing the pieces together that you can chose from. This is a great opportunity to develop a new skill, chill out with friends, and meet new people!
