Break tasks down into simpler, less intimidating steps
Develop time-management skills and techniques
Prioritize competing projects and responsibilities
Improve your note-taking abilities
Locate resources for improving your academic performance
Become more self-motivated and think about the best learning strategies for your needs
And develop study skills.

Deadline: Apply to be the Next International Education Intern

The International Education Intern at Beloit College helps support
international education by helping to promote study abroad and to
facilitate international student belonging on campus and in the wider
community. Within and beyond these primary responsibilities, the intern is
invited to pursue projects that will simultaneously enhance international
education at the college and the intern’s professional development. The
intern lives in a residence hall, is a member of the staff of the Office of
International Education, and works closely with multiple areas in the
Student Life Division (most often with student activities, orientation, and
residential life). Working approximately 36 hours/week, the intern has a
full-time appointment from mid-July 2018 through mid-June 2019. Please see

*Credentials and Experience:*
- Bachelor's Degree is required. The position may be held by either a
domestic or an international graduate.
- Experience with study abroad, international students, and/or
intercultural experience and the ability to develop quality
with students are critical.
*Desired Qualifications:*
- Experience using social media to reach student audiences.
- Ability to create graphic designs for outreach purposes.
*Remuneration/Benefits*: The position begins in mid-July and extends
through mid-June. The intern receives an hourly wage and is permitted to
take one academic course per semester without charge at the discretion of the director. Additionally, an
apartment in a campus residence hall and meals are provided as a taxable
