The Forgiveness Project

7:30 PM
Developed and presented through a special arrangement with Chicago's Erasing the Distance Theatre Company.
Drawn from interviews on all sides of the Chicago justice system, The Forgiveness Project explores the humanity behind the headlines by wrestling with the role forgiveness plays in our mental health when we're entangled with the justice system. What kind of forgiveness does a perpetrator hope to receive from the judge? How do judges, police officers, or prison guards even contemplate forgiveness? Can a family ravaged by violence absolve someone who murdered their loved one? Join us as we reflect on where Chicago's coming from and imagine the possibilities we can create together.
Show dates: Oct. 5, 6, 8 and Oct. 12, 13, 14, 2017

Event Admission Fee: $5, $7, $10
